Saba Agency proudly participated in the Istanbul Publishing Fellowship Program for the first time, which took place from February 25-27, 2025, at the Rami Library in Istanbul. This milestone 10th edition attracted over 300 publishers and agents from 92 countries, highlighting China as the focus country for the year.
Organized by the Turkish Press and Publishers Copyright and Licensing Society (TBYM) and supported by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the program aims to connect Turkish and international publishers. It has evolved into a marketplace where participants from diverse countries can network and expand their business opportunities. To commemorate its 10th anniversary, the Fellowship program unveiled a new corporate identity during the opening ceremony.
In addition to B2B meetings and professional sessions, each evening featured cultural and social events. The first night included a Gala Dinner, where the winners of the 3rd Istanbul Copyrights Award were announced. The second night offered a scenic Bosphorus Tour and Dinner, while on the third night, Iranian publishers and agents were hosted by Introtema Copyright and Translation Agency—one of the program’s organizers—to strengthen ties between Iran’s publishing industry and Turkey. Notably, Iran has declared 2025 as the Cultural Year of Iran and Turkey.
